Add Structure

The Add Structure page is where you add a structure and information pertaining to its location, taxes, construction type, occupancy, protection, value and more.

Add Structure

  1. Open the Structures module of the account you plan to edit. 
  2. Click Add Structure.

  3. Fill out the information for each of the tabs.  You also have the option to view sections as expanding groups.

Once you have filled out the required fields, you can save all changes at once by selecting Add Structure.

 

 

 There are two modes available to view sections when adding, editing, or viewing details: Tabs and Expanding Groups. Tabs are shown by default.  Read more about viewing sections.

 

Add General Information

All fields marked with an asterisk (*) require completion.

 

  1. Select the Account.
  2. Select the Structure Type.
  3. Select an Ownership Type.
  4. Select the Insurance Responsibility.
  5. Type in the Structure Name.
  6. Type a Site Identifier, which can be text or numbers needed to help identify the structure.
  7. Select or type the Date Added.
  8. Continue to the next section.

Add Address Information

  1. Type in the Address.
  2. Type in the Zip Code, and then select Lookup Zip Code, to autofill City, State, and County.
  3. Include Latitude and Longitude if needed.
  4. Continue to the next section.

Add Tax Information

  1. Type in the Block number.
  2. Type in the Tax Lot number.
  3. Select the Area: Square Feet or Acres
  4. Include a value for the Tax Area.
  5. Continue to the next section.

Add Construction Information

  1. Select a Construction Category.
  2. Select the ISO Construction Source.
  3. Type in the Floor Area.
  4. Type in the Year Built.
  5. Click on More Settings to fill in additional information regarding stories and square footage details.
  6. For Add Construction Type and Add Construction Type Other, fill in additional details regarding construction materials and percentages if needed.
  7. Continue to the next section.

Add Exposure Information

  1. Select a value for Flood Zone.
  2. Select a value for Earthquake Zone.
  3. Type in a value for Wind Zone.
  4. Continue to the next section.

Add Occupancy

  1. Select Add Occupancy to open the form and include details including Occupant, Occupancy Type, and Percent Occupied.

    If you need to enter occupant information first, click Add Occupant.
  2. Continue to the next section.

Add Protection Information

  1. Select Add Protection to open the form and include details regarding security, smoke detection, suppression systems, and other protective measures.
  2. Continue to the next section.

Add Value Information

  1. Select Add Value to open the form and provide details regarding the value types, amounts, effective dates, and sources of the amounts.
  2. Continue to the next section.

Add User-Defined Information

  1. Make selections according to the user-defined fields specific to your company.
  2. Select Save.
