New Variable Text Options and Precision for Asset Counts

Published on August 18, 2025

We have several updates to announce with Quadra® 10.4.12, released last week, relating to options in E-mail Builder as well as allocations. Additionally, we are excited to share some forthcoming AI-powered enhancements in Quadra that will be released in the coming months.

Account Tags for Automated E-mails

In E-mail Builder, users can create automated emails to send reports and invoices that are scheduled within the Allocations module. This widely-used feature greatly streamlines report distribution to contacts who receive details and invoices related to their particular accounts. Variable texts, known as ‘tags’, are contained in curly brackets and vary according to the fields linked to the individual reports or invoices. Tags are a key component in email messages since the fields clarify details such as month and year for each report.

With the latest release, any field from the Accounts grid can be used as a tag in E-mail Builder and includes Account user-defined fields. This option allows even more specific data to be included in a message. Examples of new tag options include {Account Number}, {Account Name}, {Address}, {Account Group}, and any other UDFs.

New account tags are available to include in E-mail Builder messages:

Expanded Precision for Asset Counts

In the Allocations module, allocated amounts can save asset counts with 6 places of precision, up from 2. This update enables asset changes to match charges when rate divisors are set high (1,000+).

We hope these improvements better support your ongoing workflows in insurance management.

Coming Soon: New AI-Powered Features in Quadra

In the coming months, we will release several new AI-powered features including an integrated help assistant and enhanced analysis tools.

The new chatbot assistant was introduced over the summer and is currently available from the AETI site’s Support page. The assistant was trained on Quadra's help documentation and is designed to provide answers to questions on features along with links to relevant topics within the documentation.

In the major release scheduled for fall, the assistant will be integrated into the interface so it can be easily accessed by clients working in Quadra.

Other features include the assistant's ability to provide insights on uploaded documents and report data as well as the ability to email results to clients, generative text and editing support for notes, and new analytical tools for the dashboard. Exciting changes are on the way -- Stay tuned for updates!
