Expanded AI Features for Support and Analysis
We are excited to announce Quadra® v11 with AI-enhanced tools that support insurance programs for our clients across the alternative risk market. Quadra has had many automated features added to its structure since 2012, including cost allocations, scheduling, invoicing and payment processing, notifications, certificate policy management, reporting, and communications. With new technologies available, we have been able to integrate even more sophistication into document analysis, content generation, and software support capabilities. The tools include the AI assistant chatbot available from the interface, features to perform analysis of documents and reports, and writing support.
As part of this release, other features include: A new grid mode available in the Allocations module that presents allocated amounts with greater flexibility and the ability to view imported rates as a searchable grid; a payor history feature in the Vehicles, Structures, and Other Exposures modules; a new ‘Favorites’ column for reports, allowing clients to easily access their most frequently run reports; an alternative method for accessing notifications from the icon at the top of the interface and; the ability to set remove date for notes in the Notes module.
Quadra’s AI Assistant
The Quadra assistant was launched in mid-2025 and was developed to answer questions about the software’s features. Initially the assistant was available from AETI site’s Support page. With this release, the assistant is now integrated into the interface so it can be accessed by clients working within Quadra.
From Quadra, access the assistant using the icon from the upper right menu.
The AI assistant was trained on Quadra documentation and answers questions using natural language processing (NLP) with the goal of providing relevant answers along with links to online help pages. With the links, users can quickly access screenshots and details.
Other AI-powered features include document analysis along with content generation support within the E-mail builder and Notes modules.
Document Analysis
Document analysis by Quadra’s assistant supports team members in finance, operations, risk management, and human resources. With the assistant’s natural language capabilities, clients can easily attain quantitative data and create summarizations from uploaded documents. Intelligent analysis provided by the assistant helps users find insights in A/R transaction and allocation reports to support audits, compile results of open-ended survey responses, investigate questions regarding insurance exposures, and identify potential areas of risk.
Users can upload documents from the Documents, Reports, and Standards modules to the assistant. Click ‘Send to Assistant’ from the action menu for specific documents and standards.
To send a report to the assistant, click ‘Send to Assistant’ from the top menu once your report is open for viewing.
The uploaded document will appear in the 'Files' tab of the conversation window.
Only files stored within Quadra can be sent to the assistant. Outside files cannot be run through unless they are uploaded to the Documents or Standards modules first.
Send either PDF or Excel documents or reports to the assistant for semantic or quantitative analyses and ask questions about the content. These results can either be copied from the chat screen or sent to the client by email.
Once a document is uploaded, ask questions about the content in the chat window.
Send a transcript of the conversation to your email by selecting the option under the top drop-down menu.
Clearing Conversations and Viewing Conversation History
To improve the performance of the assistant, we recommend clearing the conversations and files periodically, using the option from the top menu.
Note that you can also access the history of your conversations from Your Account, under the new ‘Assistant’ menu option at the left.
Writing Support
Assistance for composition and editing are available in the Notes module, Grants module, and E-mail Builder. This icon is accessed from the menu bar above the message area. Users can change the tone and ask it to streamline or elaborate on the content entered. Provide details on tasks and assets or provide additional clarity and professionalism in communications. This feature was made possible by incorporating AI into the DevExtreme html editor for more expedient writing and editing.
Updates to the Allocations Module
We also have updates to the Allocations module that provide more clarity to values presented in the allocated amounts grid. A new Grid Mode has been added showing values by asset, bill to, and account.
Also within the Allocations module, there is now the option to view imported rates as a searchable grid, which makes it easier to locate assets and their rates.
Payor History
A payor history feature has been added to all three assets that use payors: Vehicles, Structures, and Other Exposures. This allows users to see when payors are changed and by which user. The history can be viewed by clicking ‘History’ under the More drop-down menu in the module grid or by selecting ‘View History’ for an individual row.
New Notification Access
Notifications requiring attention are indicated by a number on the bell icon in Quadra. With this release there is a new method for accessing notifications. Clicking on the icon opens a window that displays a list of the most recent incomplete notifications or overdue tasks. Individual notifications can be accessed through the links shown or click ‘Manage Notifications’ to open the module.
Select Favorite Reports
The Reports module has a search window which can be used to filter reports by module, name, or description. However, with version 11, you can also assign certain reports as favorites by selecting the star icon in the Favorites column. This can help you locate the reports you need faster.
Once you make selections, you can use the search window to display ‘My Favorites Only’ each time you open the Reports module.
New Ability to Set Remove Date for Notes
With the ‘Remove’ function for Notes, users can now include a date and reason for removal. Since this data is captured, it can be referenced by other users in the future.
We are excited to launch this version of Quadra and look forward to your feedback on the features. The expanded AI-powered tools in this version pave the way for future advancements supporting insurance management and loss control, which we are already working on. Stay tuned for future updates!
