Building Better: Year in Review

Published on December 18, 2024

2024 is almost behind us and we are grateful for the new and continued opportunities to serve our clients and support their risk management goals.  As a provider to member-owned liability insurance organizations and brokers, we are proud of this year’s developments to streamline insurance and cost allocation tasks.

Version 10 of Quadra was our major development project and will be released in the coming year. This significant milestone upgrade, which affects all operations and modules, will provide a new interface, improved functions, and faster processing.  More specific features include a quick search tool, interface enhancements, additional preferences, and more.

Quadra 10 will offer a cleaner, more open interface. The new search bar will enable even faster searches for assets and accounts since the results will be categorized and ranked.  This tool was created to ease the search process across accounts and eliminates the need for a separate search window with multiple fields.  A number of steps in the Allocations module have been reduced and two-factor authentication has been updated for enhanced security. This release will give our clients a better user experience with even more power in managing complex insurance programs.

Other developments from this year include updates to the A/R, Account Details, and Surveys modules.  The A/R module, which is used by many of our clients in conjunction with the Allocations module, was updated as part of release 9.6.  A new tab format on the Receive Payment form organizes the fields for input and the search process was improved to offer more flexibility in how results are presented.  Additionally, history details are now available for A/R transactions, allowing users to view details as well as who made changes.

Also within the A/R module, pivot reports are now accessed from the Reports module. Parameters can be adjusted depending on what information is needed and the export option allows for further manipulation of data.

With Quadra release 9.7, the Account Details module was updated to simplify the tasks of managing accounts.  The interface follows the tab format of other modules and the Contacts and Ownership grids are now available on separate pages to maintain a cleaner layout for account information.

In the spring we revised the Surveys module in Quadra for release 9.8.  Many clients use this module to create and distribute forms, provide details as part of an audit, or conduct surveys across accounts.  For this release, the survey response portion was rewritten in a new framework for better performance and a more consistent user experience. The updated module includes a ‘Preview Survey’ link which allows a user to quickly see how it will appear to a respondent and test out answers and question logic.

With 2025 on the horizon, we are moving forward and developing more services to help our clients carry out their responsibilities as efficiently as possible. We sincerely thank all of you for your continued partnership with AETI and wish everyone a successful and productive new year!
