We are pleased to announce several Quadra® updates with version 9.1 that improve the user experience in managing cost allocations and reports to support a complex insurance program.

Report Builder enhancements

Following the introduction of Report Builder in version 9.0, a new function is available in Quadra that makes it possible for users to hide reports in the Reports module grid.  A user can adjust the setting of a new or copied report that determines if the report can be viewed by others. The control for showing hidden reports is available when copying or adding a report or when adjusting settings in the Report Builder.  This further expands the options for managing the accessibility of a report.

From Report Builder, this option makes the report visible in the Reports module:

New method for customizing vehicle ID cards

Various insurance documents can be created and managed in Quadra, including ID cards for Vehicles.  From Administration, information appearing on the reverse of the card can be customized according to the client’s needs. With this version, use Report Builder to customize both the front of the card as well as the back for the default, California, and Pennsylvania formats. Report copies made in Report Builder can be selected in the Administration module under ID Card Settings.  This allows for more flexibility in specifying content on ID cards.

While the information on the front of the ID card is set by the database, text fields can be edited through Report Builder:

Allocations module updates

In the Allocations module, it is now possible to copy accounts added after an allocation is started. This is one of the settings available when specifying coverage details and accounts when creating a new allocation. If enabled, the accounts will be included automatically after the allocation is started.  This option is available when the account status has the ‘Add account to allocation’ rule checked in Administration. Additionally, the account must not have been explicitly removed from the allocation.

When copying an allocation, the setting ‘Schedule dates’ includes the option to advance the fiscal year by one year which eliminates the need to edit this when preparing a new allocation. Plus, you can also remove a finished allocation in order to maintain a more simplified view of allocations.

This setting can be used to advance the fiscal year by one year when copying an allocation:

Location/description option for property certificates

Lastly, a new option is available for editing property certificates at the policy and certificate levels. The ‘Location/Description’ field can be changed to better describe a property and location. The text included in the policy will appear by default, but it can be overridden at the time of issuance.

The Location/Description field can be changed on the issuance page:

At AETI® we are continually working on new Quadra features to support workflows. Stay tuned for additional updates!
