Charge Inspector - Shared Amounts

Shared amounts are cost component target amounts divided among different coverages. In the Shared Amounts tab of the Charge Inspector, comparative amounts are shown with the coverages they are assigned to and the resulting impact on rates.

The division is determined by the sharing type, either equal or proportional.

Under the Shared Amounts Flow chart, cost component amounts are shared across different coverages. This division updates the rates for all accounts under the coverage, creating an updated charge.

The Updated Full Distribution Rates at the bottom will only be visible for full distribution coverage programs.   Fixed rates are not updated based on shared amounts.
