About Allocations

The Allocations module calculates and distributes the total cost of risk (TCOR) across all of your accounts and assets.  Quadra sums the cost components for each coverage used by your company and applies the cost information to selected assets along with modifiers and other rules.

Allocation and accounts receivable operations work together, allowing you to easily create, distribute, and process invoices from within Quadra. You can integrate the Allocations module with the Accounts Receivable module or utilize an outside A/R system.

The Allocations module streamlines the cost allocation and billing process by:

  • Consolidating asset and valuation data to determine fair charges.
  • Aligning insurance coverages with assets and funds.
  • Weighting valuations so that varying degrees of risk are adequately reflected in the charges.
  • Connecting allocation and A/R operations to automatically create invoices and journal entries that reflect ongoing asset changes.
  • Scheduling allocations, asset changes, and invoices to fit each client's specific needs and priorities.
  • Incorporating modifier rules to adjust final charges for accounts as needed.
