Charge Inspector - Modifiers

A modifier is a rule specified by the client that will apply discounts or surcharges based on certain criteria. The Modifiers tab in the Charge Inspector shows how the charge increases or deacreases due to modifiers.  

The Modifier Details section itemizes the assets with modifiers applied.

The criteria for surcharges or discounts can be set according to different factors that affect asset or account risk. Modifiers are designed to help protect against higher-risk assets or accounts while rewarding factors that reduce losses.
