Supporting Nonprofit Initiatives
As our northeast winter season finally turns over to spring, we are enhancing a module in Quadra® with our nonprofit clients in mind. The Grants module, scheduled to be released in May, will provide a Quadra-based interface focused on grant management. With features for monitoring tasks, deadlines, documents, and funding opportunity details, the Grants module is intended to support the overall application process and other award-related activities.
As grant applications are a concern for many of our clients, we took advantage of the opportunity to develop a number of existing capabilities in Quadra to benefit all users. In particular, our Notes module and email notification systems are being expanded to support task assignments and team communications. In turn, these enhancements will help clarify responsibilities and ensure deadlines are met.
An update to the Notes module includes the availability of a new radio button that turns a note into a task. With a task, fields for a due date and assigned-to appear and a series of email reminders will be triggered. While the previous Notes module utilized a follow-up field, designating a note as a task identifies it as a to-do item to promote accountability.
Our clients manage multiple grant applications simultaneously, each with unique deadlines, requirements, and phases. By centralizing details and offering a simplified interface organizing tasks and due dates, the Grants module can help clients ensure timely submissions and avoid missed opportunities.
