Edit Transaction

There are limits to which fields can be edited depending on the transaction type.  Account, Fund, Bill Type, and Amount cannot be edited.

Edit a Transaction

  1. Open the Accounts Receivable module of your selected account.
  2. Find the journal entry in the ledger. Under the action menu, select Edit.

  3. Edit the fields as needed. Available fields are based on the type of transaction.
  4. Select Edit Payment.
  5. In the confirmation box asking if you are sure you want to edit this journal entry, select Confirm.

Edit Invoice

Fields that can be edited include Date, Transaction Number, and Memo.

 

Edit Payment

Fields that can be edited include Received Date, Applied Date, Payment Type, and Memo.  Additional fields will appear depending on the Payment Type selected.

 

Edit Credit Journal Entry

Fields that can be edited include: Entry Type, Received Date, Applied DateTransaction Number, and Memo.

Edit Debit Journal Entry

Fields that can be edited include: Entry Type, Date, Transaction Number, and Memo.
