Protection Types

Protection Types refer to the various systems installed in a structure to protect it against fire/water damage or criminal activity.  The protection types are fixed in Quadra by default, but the values (menu selections) for each type can be edited.

Access Protection Types

1. From Quadra, access Administration.
2. On the left hand menu, go to Structures and click Protection Types.

Add Protection Type

1. Open Protection Types from Administration.
2. On the main Protection Types page, select a Protection Type.
3. Select Add Protection Type.
   
   
4. In the Protection Type field, type in a value.
   
   
5. Click the Save icon under the action menu. 

Edit Protection Type

1. Open Protection Types from Administration.
2. On the main Protection Types page, select a Protection Type.
3. Select a type and click the Edit icon under the action menu.  
   
4. Edit text as needed.
5. Select the Save icon.

Remove Protection Type

1. Open Protection Types from Administration.
2. On the main Protection Types page, select a Protection Type.
3. Select a type and click the Delete icon under the action menu.  
   
4. In the confirmation box asking if you are sure you want to delete this protection value, click OK.
